Globally Connected @ FIT: Global Exchange, Local impact

What happens when FIT goes global? Between April 13 and 17, 2026, a delegation from FIT New York City and FIT Florence traveled to Ho Chi Minh City to take part in the IFFTI (International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institute) Annual Conference, hosted by RMIT University Vietnam, bringing together leading fashion and textile institutes from around the world.

Supported by the Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET) and the Office of International Programs, FIT faculty shared ideas, explored new approaches to fashion education, and connected with an international network shaping the future of the industry.
